Youth and Family Cycling
Italy - Lake and Mountain Magic
|

| |
Treat yourself to a mix of biking and adventurous activities in Europe’s best lakeside destination. This is a trip to please keen mtb parents who want to combine some time to do their own rides with time spent cycling and exploring as a family.
The trip is centre based at a lovely little hotel with good facilities and a private swimming pool, just 2 minutes from Lake Garda’s pebbly beach. You’re right in the heart of Torbole, a small town brimming with life and home to the best cafes, bars, restaurants and shops in the area – always family friendly and always very well priced.
The week’s activities are based around alternate days of family mountain bike rides on easier terrain then more demanding rides for more experienced bikers only. On these tougher days we offer non-riders a range of activities such as windsurf lessons, sailing, boat and cable car trips, mountain hikes, via ferrata trips, climbing lessons etc. to keep everyone happy and active. Of course some people just enjoy having every other day off to relax on the beach and check out the great ice cream parlours!
Family facts:
Italy is a very cycle-friendly destination with many cycle lanes, perfect for young bikers. We do not offer childcare facilities on this trip – a responsible adult should either participate in activities with the children or supervise them. The minimum age for children on this tour is 6. Tag-a-longs are recommended for younger children as rides are not vehicle supported. |
