Set in the heart of the Eden Valley, in the Tudor Building of Brougham Hall, our Eden Valley Cycle Centre is the perfect launch point for a day, weekend or week of wonderful cycling.
The Eden Valley is in the north of England, close to the Scottish border and Hadrian’s Wall, separating the dramatic peaks of The Lake District from the highest summits of The Pennines. In order to get the most out of this wonderful area we have designed five routes for a range of abilities, exploring the most scenic country land and visiting the best local attractions.
If you’re new to cycling then the lightweight Trek mountain bikes we provide (all new each season) will be perfect for a day out on the back roads. With a comfortable riding position and fast rolling tyres you will be able to spend a day in the saddle with ease.
If you are interested in more of a challenge then these mountain bikes will let you go anywhere you please, with 27 gears and front suspension it is the ideal bike for getting off the roads and onto the fells.
For families we have trailers and tag-a-longs available. With Wetheriggs Animal Sanctuary, Abbotts Lodge Jersey Ice Cream Farm and Play Area and the wonderful cafe at Melkinthorpe all between 4 and 6 miles away, you know you’ll have a great day out cycling!

Price:
Bikes
£25 per day (includes helmet)

Multi-Day Savings:
£7 per day on the 3rd and subsequent days for bikes
£5 per day on the 3rd and subsequent days for tag-a-longs.
Deposit:
£100 per bike
£50 per tag-a-long/trailer
Deposit to be paid in cash or charged to a credit card on collection of the bikes and will be fully refunded on safe return. A form of personal ID is also required for all rentals, and if not available then a deposit of £200 per bike will be required.
