Lake District Weekends

The Lake District is England’s largest National Park and it has the most incredible network of natural rock, stone, hardpack and slate trails. We don’t ride in the mud here, whatever the time of year, so forget about slipping all over the place, just prepare for jaw dropping biking with scenery to match. This is classic mountain country the likes of which you’ll struggle to find anywhere else in Britain.
We use good guesthouses for all weekends, so you just arrive any time on Friday, enjoy a comfy night’s sleep and big breakfast then hit the trails with a professional, local guide. After each day of biking we enjoy afternoon tea with homebaked cakes, and after the last day we keep a room free for showering in, before you head home.
Come and find out why The Lake District was voted best biking destination in Britain by What Mountain Bike magazine readers (ahead of ALL the man made centres). We know this place inside out and will show you the very best riding there is to discover.
A Winter Wonderland:
If you normally pack up the biking in winter or stick to man-made centres then we’ve got great news for you – the rock, stone and hardpacked trails in The Lakes are virtually empty, just waiting to be enjoyed. They also link in with great, traditional pubs and cafes so you can enjoy a lunchtime treat each day, slotted into a fantastic, full day out. What’s more we do 3 rides on winter weekends, not 2, with an optional 2-hour night ride on Saturday night.
Lights are provided at a small fee to those who don't own any (prior notice required, please).
