	Mountain Bike Europe Spain Weekend Escape
	Possibly the greatest singletrack in Spain has been uncovered in The Marina Alta Mountains of southern Valencia. Since we began our trips here in 2000 we’ve hosted journalists from the biggest UK magazines and they all said the same thing – this place is fantastic! What sets this region apart is the huge network of Mozarabic trails that cross it in all directions. These ancient trading routes were carved out of the mountain sides for donkeys, then over the years many became overgrown. Unlike other parts of Spain the Marina Alta is almost totally hidden from tourists, so the trails were only cleared by our team of guides over months and years of regular hard work. The final result – a breathtaking array of great bike rides, easily accessed from our beautiful little guesthouse located in the heart of a traditional Spanish mountain village. Not only can you indulge yourself with great riding but you can soak up the atmosphere of rural Spain, enjoy great accommodation, great food and be taken care of by some of the best guides in the business.
