Ethiopia contains the biggest range of mountains in Africa, unspoilt, almost untouched, and perfect for mtb exploration. This is one of many surprises in store when you visit Ethiopia.
Where you expect to find an impoverished nation, you see a people full of pride in their country, and their long and colourful history. You might expect to see dusty plains, yet the Ethiopian Plateau contains the highest and third highest peaks on the continent, north of the equator. This is a land full of new experiences and the warmth of the welcome you receive will make you want to discover more of them.
There is over 6500m of descent during the tour (but still some climbing too), on rough dirt roads, rocky tracks and high mountain trails. This includes the spectacular ride off the 4307m peak of Tullu Deemtu, and across the Sanetti Plateau. If you're looking for a unique, challenging and truly rewarding African biking holiday - this could be the perfect trip.
