Cycling Holidays – UK – Coast to Coast

  Holiday Facts
Crossing the country by bike is a fabulous trip to do, and gives riders a great sense of achievement as they pedal those last miles with the North Sea in sight. Along the way you take in The Lake District, Eden Valley, Pennines and Northumbria - altogether some of the most beautiful parts of Great Britain.

Our trips complete this route in 3 days of cycling - that's enough to be a challenge, but still do-able by any moderately fit person. We also make best use of the weekends, so you arrive with us on a Thursday evening and complete the ride on Sunday afternoon.

For mountain bikers we also offer something a little different - extra route options with great off-road riding. With CycleActive being based on the route itself, it's not surprising that we know a few great detours, not shown on any "official C2C" maps. These are all legal (on rights of way), and really spice up the ride for those people who want to try them.

What we provide is:

  • Carefully selected accommodation for three nights
  • Bag transfers each day, so you need only cycle with your daily snacks and toolkit
  • Pre-tour and on-tour advice and information
  • Emergency breakdown support
  • Return transport from the finish, plus afternoon tea and cakes, celebratory champagne and a shower room so you can travel home in comfort
The way we’ve organise this trip works perfectly, keeping bag packing times down and reducing your driving/travel times too. To find out more click the link below.
