Cutting edge techniques from World Cup coaching are shaping the CTC instructor course, making it one of the most exciting developments in mountain biking for years. For the first time we have a respected national body running a mountain bike training program that focuses on the best ways to coach mountain bike skills, from entry level to championship level. The CTC now want to train instructors across the UK, to raise the standard of coaching on a truly national scale.
CycleActive is in the remarkable position of being the first corporate partner to work with the CTC. Our 10 year history of excellence in coaching made us their number one choice and we will be offering CTC instructor courses in a range of locations in 2008.
This two-day training course, followed by a one-day assessment, will teach you to analyse rider performance, break down skills, run effective training sessions and coach in all kinds of terrain at all biking levels. This will provide you with a solid coaching approach to develop riders and help them to self-analyse and continue to improve. It works either as a stand-alone qualification or as an advanced coaching supplement to the SMBLA qualification.
Once fully accredited you will also get a range of benefits through the CTC.
