“Friendly yet professional” is the way we see CycleActive.
When we started in 1996 the three founders all came from business backgrounds, and took pride in running things properly. Alongside this we were all cyclists, explorers, outdoor enthusiasts and, we hope, pretty good fun people to be around. We wanted people to get the same thrill from our holidays as we did, and still do, and many clients have become good friends over the years as a result.
We believe in giving honest advice to our clients so they find the right trip. It’s a lot easier to be this honest with such a wide range of holidays and courses to choose from, when you planned them all “in-house” and when clients can regularly speak to people who know the trips and destinations intimately.
We also believe that our staff should be highly trained and skilled professionals too. Just visit our page about the guides to see what we mean.
The result is an extraordinary level of repeat bookings, a good mix of female and male clients of all ages and abilities and a reputation in the bike industry that brings journalists from all the top UK magazines onto our tours. We’re not resting here though – every month we review our progress, collect feedback and try to find ways to improve ourselves.
